Integrating Photography and Design to Deliver Beautiful Messages

This past Friday, one day before the Jewish holiday of Purim, our clients at the Orthodox Union’s Institute for Public Affairs asked us to design a quick graphic to send out to their email base wishing them a happy holiday.

Rather than purchase stock imagery for the graphic, we decided to ask for some assistance from Debbie Unger Photography to take some photos of a traditional Purim treat, hamantaschen. (Talk about having a great resource on hand – not only is Debbie a great photographer, but she’s a great baker, too.)

She took some great photos of her brownie-filled hamantaschen, we dressed it up a bit, and the OU sent out a beautiful message to their constituents. Here’s the final product.

And yes, they were as tasty as they look.
